S P A I N

Paella, Gaudi, and tinto de verano (the local’s choice over sangria), Spain is a dream. Whether you’re chasing warm Spanish nights in a plaza, basking on a sun-drenched beach, hunting down filming locations (Money Heist, Game of Thrones... Cheetah Girls 2, anyone?), or just looking for a wild night out at a club that never seems to close—Spain is calling. And trust me, you’re going to want to answer!

Pro-ish Tips for Spain

• Swap your sangria for a tinto de verano: sangria gets all the tourist love, but locals know what's up. Tinto de verano (literally “summer red wine”) is refreshing, simple, and — honestly — better.

• Take a day trip! Spain’s train system is a dream. You can jump from sipping a local wine in a medieval town to wandering a coastal town in no time.

• Visit during shoulder season: fewer crowds, lower prices, and still plenty of sun? Sold! Spring (April–June) and fall (September–October) are ideal for exploring without summer heat.

• Remember your Spanish! But also note that small towns in northern Spain might speak Catalan instead.
